Summer is drawing to an end the leaves are slowly turning from their fresh green into cosy orange. But I am not yet done with summer I want at least one more slow evening filled with twilight and bat acrobatics.

Why I absolutely love drying laundry outside and you might too
Nothing beats fresh clean laundry, drying in the sunshine, and being blown in the wind. Your clothes will smell lovely and fresh, and you will even save some euros on your bills. So if you’re not currently line drying your clothes, you might want to try it and see if you like it.
Waiting for spring after a long winter
Like most, I dream of spring during winter, of the return of lush green grass and yellow daffodils popping up. Pining for birdsong to fill the mornings and the sun to warm my face.
Frosty days and a simple life, appreciating the winter
Part of living a simple life is appreciating the small and simple things in that life. Like the frozen flowers on a cold and frosty morning or the layer of snow on a leaf. It is drinking that steaming cup of tea while you’re breathing in the crisp morning air.
New year resolutions for skills and crafts
Every year I choose a goal for that year, a new year resolution that will help me in my daily life, a skill that I want to learn but find a bit daunting. I find that this helps with motivation because focusing on things you want to gain brings more peace to your life than when you focus on losing or quitting things.
Why a nature walk is important for a simple life
A walk is such a simple thing. It can clear your head and bring peace to your soul. I find it to be an essential part of a more mindful and simple life. For a walk, especially in nature, will help you focus on the present. It will help you to slow down and see all the beauty that life has to offer.
